2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid

2010 Toyota Prius Prius is a third generation electric car which has several intelligent features. It also offers a good hybrid vehicle tax credit, but you may want to consult with your tax advisor or the IRS before using it this year.

There is a $1,700 tax credit by the IRS for owning a hybrid or electric car. The credit is good only if the vehicle is purchased before October 1, 2009. After that, the credit is $850 which is good until March 2010.

Prius is quickly becoming a cult of its own. The combined Toyota hybrid MPG rating is 50. It will cost you no more than $20 to fill its 11 gallon gas tank, that's if fuel prices remain the same.

Toyota Hybrid cars are seen everywhere on the highways and cities across America.

Toyota Motor Sales is one of the fastest growing automakers meeting high demand for fuel efficient vehicles. While all automakers offer incredible mileage, Toyota offers the best when it comes to coupes and sedans.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid has a starting price of $26,150 and gets 33-34 miles per gallon on average. While the eco-friendly vehicle doesn't offer the best MPG rating, in comparison to other Toyota automobiles, it is loaded with features and optional accessories.

The invoice price is also higher than other Toyota hybrids it does have a zero percent emission rating.

According to NADA's Fast Facts, for 2009, the price includes the green technology which delivers better than average fuel economy. The hybrid car also is equipped with luxury features found in Toyota's top-of-the-line Camry XLE model.

Toyota also hopes to use the Prius model to deliver a new standard in Hybrid innovative technology. It is a third-generation hybrid car which offers an MPG rating of up to 51 miles per gallon.

The vehicle is much quieter and equipped with advanced standard features such as steering wheel touch controls, a moon roof with solar panels, and the Intelligent Parking Assist (IPA).

The Prius now has an efficient 1.8-liter Atkinson engine which runs on four-cylinders. The engine can produce 98 horsepower at 5,200. Moreover, the car will generate a horsepower of 134 combined with its electric motor and hybrid system. Other features include Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, and Anti-Lock Brakes.

The 2010 Hybrid line-up has a great outlook and some meaningful gas savings for consumers.
